This video is revised and expanded from the first release. We visit 10 shortlines with scenes spanning from 1970 to 1998. We had full access to the Angelina & Neches River Railroad, in Texas, and the Central Oregon and Pacific, in Oregon, with the “inside” look at two very capable shortlines. See the Modesto & Empire Traction, Amador Central, Central California Traction, Yolo Shortline, Trona, South West Portland Cement, Stockton Terminal & Eastern and the Ventura County Railway. Every shortline and industrial rail line has a rich story to tell and we have them. ALCOs, Baldwins, and early GE and EMD Geeps earn their keep on these wonderful shortlines.
